You don't need to be familiar with our practice to request a birth control interview.
During a birth control interview, you will see one of our midwives who is a contraceptive specialist. She will fully review your current situation. We do this in an integral way. This means that we don't just tell you what options there are, and then choose 1. No, we will talk to you about your lifestyle, your wishes and how you want to use contraception in a practical way. Together, investigate which method might suit you best. Ultimately, you make the choice.
The cost of a birth control call is €60.00
Places of contraception
Do you already know which method of contraception you want? Then you can also come to us for the installation of spirals and implanons.
How nice is it that you see an experienced midwife in our practice who can help you in a living room setting (not a sterile medical setting).
During the appointment, we think it's most important that you feel comfortable. We are therefore happy to take the time to do this.
To install contraception, call our assistant. She will discuss with you which method you want and whether you have thought of all aspects of this method. We order the medicine for you, which arrives at our practice. So you don't have to bring anything.
When installing a spiral, we also make an ultrasound for FREE within 8 weeks to check whether the spiral is in the right place.
Placing the contraceptive is covered by the basic package of your insurance, not at the expense of your deductible.
The contraceptive itself may not be fully reimbursed. The costs depend on your insurance.
